I'm seriously thinking about selling homemade pillows for some extra cash. If anyone has ideas, I'll be glad to take them. I can't promise that I'll do it (especially if it is overly complicated!), but suggestions would be helpful ;)

So... I was thinking... I'm going to be experimenting with a knitting technique called felting, in which through hot water and agitation (aka a washing machine), you can make a huge knit item (that is 100% wool) into a cute felted object. It's a way to make felt hats, clogs/slippers, bags, etc. (An example of a felted object before: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2058/2158166741_781eaed3c7.jpg and after: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2119/2175122733_d4c90426b7.jpg ) I'm going to make a hat for Rui, and if it works out, I might remake my Professor Layton pillow so that it would be felted instead of sewn - wouldn't have to worry about frayin

If anyone wants to know, do not go to bed on a dorm floor at 2am with the intention of waking up at 7:15. I am so tired I did not sleep at ALL while on a "sleepover" at UMCP. And dorm floors are not comfortable. Though the conversations in the social lounges were interesting ;)
